Store each tax year together with the corresponding support documents for seven years. Make a note as to when the tax package will be shredded.
Use plastic bins for cleaning products under your sink. If they leak, you simply wash out the bin instead of replacing the cabinet! Same idea goes for items stored on a shelf. Keep the drips from ruining your cabinets.
Does your family know where to find your important documents?
Use numbered boxes or bins to store collections of items. Create a card file with the box number and a description of the contents on each individual card.
Store items that work together in one place. For this collection of camera equipment, you may need a bin or basket.
Bless others during the holidays with your unwanted stuff by putting it into an Amazon box and leaving it on your front porch for someone to take. ​(Just kidding! We don't want to encourage stealing.)
